Emily Heinrich is the MYP Coordinator and Digital Learning Coach at Discovery Canyon Campus in Colorado Springs. This is Emily’s third year as MYP Coordinator and ninth year at Discovery Canyon. Before becoming coordinator, Emily taught 4th and 5th grade, 6th and 7th grade math and science, and worked as an instructional coach. Emily is excited to take on the role of MYP representative for IBARMS and brings her passion for IB education and educational technology to the role. Emily has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and is currently working towards an MSEd with Western Governors University. Emily is also a member of the IB Educator Network and leads MYP Workshops.
