Our mission is grounded in collaboration, guided by expertise, and driven by a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The IBARMS Vision

IBARMS envisions a thriving network of IB World Schools that exemplify excellence in teaching, learning, and community engagement.
As one of the most established and respected regional associations worldwide, IBARMS aspires to:
Be a global exemplar...
for how regional associations can support IB educators through consistent, reliable, and affordable services.
Strengthen the impact of IB programmes...
by cultivating a culture of shared learning, professional growth, and reflective practice.
Elevate the reputation of IB education...
by championing innovation, collaboration, and student achievement across the Rocky Mountain region.
Serve as a trusted educational partner...
to schools, universities, districts, and government agencies through advocacy and leadership.
Promote equitable access...
to professional development and support services that empower schools at all stages of their IB journey.
Our vision reflects our belief that communities flourish when educators feel connected, supported, and inspired to deliver extraordinary learning experiences.

Our Mission Statement

IBARMS exists to support the continuous improvement, development, and recognition of International Baccalaureate programmes throughout the Rocky Mountain region. We empower educators by providing high-quality professional learning, meaningful opportunities for collaboration, and a strong sense of community.

Our organization helps schools navigate the complexities of IB implementation and evaluation by offering clarity, guidance, and practical support tailored to their programme needs. We celebrate the achievements of IB students and educators, promote international-mindedness, and serve as a regional connector between IB schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

Whether a school is newly exploring IB, in candidacy, or long established, IBARMS is committed to ensuring that all member schools have the knowledge, resources, and relationships necessary to thrive within the IB framework.
