It is on highway 6, Keystone, CO seven beautiful miles in the Snake River Valley, surrounded by the White River National Forest. Accessing Keystone is convenient for all travelers, located just off I-70. The Resort is a quick 90-minute drive from Denver International Airport (DIA), and approximately 70 miles from downtown Denver.

Mountain Living: What you need to know.

Drink Water! Drink Water! Drink Water!
  • Transportation: Keystone Resort has its own comprehensive complimentary transportation network between conference facilities, lodging accommodations, restaurants and recreational activities.
  • Dress for comfort: Some meals will be served outside, so dress in layers.
  • Altitude:  Beautiful and scenic Keystone is nestled in the Rocky Mountains with an elevation of more than 9000 feet.  People with special health concerns are advised to take the altitude into consideration.
  • Weather gear advice:  You may want to spend some time outdoors in Colorado’s always interesting weather.
  • Please bring walking shoes and rain wear.

Wireless Workshop

Keystone is a wireless conference and therefore limited in the use of paper. Internet access is available to all participants in their session rooms at no charge. Keystone lodging rooms also provide free wireless Internet access.

All participants must bring a laptop or tablet that has space available on its desktop to download material.

Accurate participant names and email addresses must be updated in the registration system by May 15, 2026.

Meals Included

  • June 22 and June 23: breakfast and lunch
  • June 24: breakfast
Meals are served buffet style at Keystone, vegetarian and gluten sensitive items will be available and labeled. Your name badge is your ticket to meals. Please wear your name badge at all times during conference hours. IBARMS staff will check badges as you enter the meal room. A replacement cost of $10 will be charged for lost badges.

Fees

  • After June 15, contact us by phone at 303-408-3218 to determine availability and to register…..$100 late registration fee applies,
  • There is $10 additional charge for Purchase Orders. Actual Payment will be due within 30 days of purchase order.
  • Invoice link can be found in your confirmation email.
  • Certificates of attendance will be sent to participants as a link in email two weeks after the conference.  Additional copies may be purchased at a later date for $5.
  • Payment must be received by the start of the workshop.  Any payment not received by that time will be assessed a late charge of $100 unless prior arrangements have been made with IBARMS

Travel Information

The rustic yet elegant Keystone Lodge is located 1 ½ hours west of Denver. Bustling and energetic, Keystone’s original village has a festive atmosphere that includes shops, galleries, restaurants and the Keystone Lake. Many summer activities such as bike rental, horseback riding, hiking, and golf can be found just outside your door.
  • Lodging rates: Room rates vary from $195 for a room at Lodge up to $275 a night for a two bedroom condo.  Click on Keystone Resorts to make lodging reservation for condos or Lodge or call 1-855-948-0696.  Mention code BKRARM26 to receive discounted rates.
  • If you are able to prove your tax exempt status, once you have the confirmation email and the confirmation number, fill out the document by clicking on Tax Exempt Form
  • Airport to Resort Shuttle: Please allow at least two hours to travel by road from the airport to the resort.  Discounted door-to-door ground transportation to and from the Denver International Airport to Keystone Resort is available thru Epic Mountain Express at a price expected to be around $59 each way per person on shared ride service.  To receive the special conference rate, please call 970-754-7433 or visit: Epic Mountain Express after April 1.  You may also wish to inquire with car rental agencies, particularly if you are coming to Keystone as a team of 3 or more.

Cancellations

  • Registrants unable to attend or send a substitute participant for the same workshop may receive a refund less $50 cancellation fee provided the cancellation is requested in writing by June 1, 2026.  Because conference arrangements are finalized on this date, we are unable to accommodate cancellation requests made after June 1, 2026.
  • Substitutions: (changing one person to another in the same workshop) can be made in writing by June 1, 2026 without charge.  Substitutions received after June 1, 2026 may be assessed a $20 late change fee.
  • Transferring an attendee from one workshop to another must be done by the Registrar, and a request can be made in writing through June 1, 2026 without charge. Transfers are made on a space available basis when requested in writing.
  • On-site changes made at the conference may be assessed a $50 fee.
  • No refunds for no shows.  Thank you for your understanding as we aim to keep costs reasonable for all attendees!

Transportation

  • Please be advised that Keystone is a conference center area.  Condos are at various locations and the conference sessions are held at conference center and the Keystone Lodge. While shuttle transportation is available we want all our participants to be aware that everything is not under one roof.
  • Keystone Resort has its own comprehensive complimentary transportation network between conference facilities, lodging accommodations, restaurants and recreational activities.
    Most participants recommend to be prepared to do some walking.

Registration & Pricing

Registration is now open. This year, registration opened on January 5, 2026.

1. Select the session you or your staff would like to attend. Enter the names and email address of attendees for each course.

2. Register, check out and make a payment. Make sure to have your registrations completed by May 15.

CHOOSE CATEGORY 1 if you are new to the IB or if your situation is similar to any of the following:

  • You are new to the faculty of a longstanding IB World School and have not taught in an IB programme previously.
  • You are aware of the IB philosophy and programme structure but are not experienced in teaching or administrating the IB.
  • You are familiar with the IB subject guide (including assessment procedures, moderation) and would like greater confidence before teaching a course.
  • You have inherited a course and would like to review the subject content before teaching it to suit your own style and expertise.

CHOOSE CATEGORY 2 workshops to develop your expertise in delivering an IB programme. You will have an opportunity to:

  • Make connections between programme frameworks and classroom practice
  • Enhance your understanding of assessment in IB programmes
  • Discuss and analyse standards and practices

CHOOSE CATEGORY 3 workshops to go more deeply into areas you enjoy and to deepen your understanding and mastery of a particular area or subject. Note: Teachers and other school leaders who do not teach in an IB school but wish to sample IB learning may choose to participate in category 3 workshops.

Yes. Districts and schools may coordinate group registrations. For support with group billing, contact the IBARMS leadership team.

Attendance at all IB workshops is 15 hours of instruction credit If you are interested in receiving graduate education credit through Kent University, visit: Kent State University.  Please contact Kent State University directly prior to the event.

No, you don’t need one unless you want to travel to other sites such as Breckenridge, Dillon or visit the top of Loveland Pass. The resort is pedestrian-friendly, and most amenities are within a short walk. Shuttle services are typically available for participants staying on-site.

Yes. Keystone offers activities and amenities suitable for families, making it a popular option for educators who wish to extend their stay.

Before you arrive

Participants should bring a laptop or tablet, writing materials, and any required pre-work assigned by their workshop leader. Weather in the mountains can vary, so layered clothing is recommended.

Breakfast on June 22, 23 and 24; lunch on June 22 and 23 are provided. Only conference participants can attend the meals.

Some workshop leaders may include pre-reading or an introductory activity. Participants will receive communication from their workshop leader if there are expectations.
